What Causes Light Pink Vaginal Bleeding With Mucus Discharge After Having Periods?

Hi, my husband and I been trying to conceive and we are still hopeful it will happen.I had my period on the 6th and finished on the 10th. We were trying on the 12th as my period already cleared (so we thought) - then a light red bleeding appears. Then we stopped for 3 days, then today 16th we tried again but then noticed a light red pinkish with mucus like discharge. We are not sure if we are already pregnant or implantation? please help?

Hi.

A mild bleed lasting only for a day or so can be related to an implantation bleed. I would recommend a home pregnancy test to confirm/rule out pregnancy using an early morning urine sample. The test can be conducted 2 weeks after the sexual contact.
