Hello,
As per my clinical experience, as periods are almost always there at 29 days, the issue of peri menopause does not sound appealing here. There can be ample number of spotting and abdomen cramps with negative UPT as:
- Hormone axis alteration or imbalance at
hypothalamus, pitutary, ovarian levels
- Polycystic ovarian syndrome
- Altered LH FSH ratio
- Lack of estrogen, progesterone
- Low
hemoglobin (anemia)
- Uterine fibroids
It is primary need of
OBGYN check up with lab results,
ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis as
primary care of concern to initiate the diagnostic approach.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
