What Causes Light Spotting Plus Foul Odour After Having Intercourse?
Hello, I ve been experiencing very light bleeding/spotting now for 8 days Which started about a week or two before my period was due. It s a light pink colour when I wipe and isn t enough to wear a pad or tampon but when I have intercourse it is abit heavier and bright red. I m also experiencing an ammonia smelling discharge. I find it weird because every time I have my period it is quite heavy and only lasts 4 days. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend aswell. Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if this Problem persists your gynacologist needs to check for any inflammation with ultrasound and clinical examination. It could also be a sign of early pregnancy or very early abortion/ misscariage (which is normal in 50% of all potential early pregnancies).
