What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding Along With Abdominal Cramps During Menstruation?

Hi, I just wanted to know about my cycle. I should ve started my cycle Thurs the 16 but instead started today Fri the 17. I started around 4 but it wasn t heavy and it stopped about 2 hrs ago. My lower back is hurting and I have light cramps but I still haven t started again

Thanks for the query..
Abdominal cramps, low back ache are common during menstruation. It is due detachment of endometrium and release of prostaglandins which are pain mediators. Pain can be relived by taking pain killers like Paracetamol, Mefenamic acid, diclofenac sodium etc..
