What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding During Menstruation?
I had one light period with light pink blood that lasted 3 days. It is two weeks later and I m having another light period. I have taken a home pregnancy test that came back negative. It has been about 1 month since when conception would have been. Also about 6 days after intercourse is when I had the light three day period. Could I be pregnant even after I tested negative?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. It appears from your description that you are having inter-menstrual bleeding, which is unusual and needs to be investigated as to what could be the cause. Since pregnancy tests have been negative, there are other causes which needs to be looked into: 1. Hormonal imbalance - Kindly check for your FSH, LH and prolactin levels in blood. 2. Infection of genitourinary tract, polyps or fibroids - Kindly get an ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis done. Kindly consult Gynecologist with the above test reports for proper advise and management. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
