What Causes Light Vaginal Bleeding In A 64 Year Old Woman?
I am post-menopausal (64) and just today started to have some light vaginal bleeding. My doctor had given me an estogen cream to use twice a week for dryness but I have only been using it occasionally. Could tgat be the problem? If not, what else could cause that? What should I do? Thank you
If it continues,Don't ignore it. Bleeding in a post menopausal women needs further work up including sonography. Most commonly it is dysfunctional uterine bleeding which may need dilatation and currettage (D AND C)and histopathological biopsy of endometrium
