I ve been taking birth control pills for a month now . I stopped taking them for a few weeks after I refrained from sexual activity . I got my regular period july 2nd. It lasted 7 days . I got my period again the 16th being a Saturday. Let s keep in mind I started taking my birth control pill the next day Being the 17th a Sunday . My period is only light spots here and there but should I be worried ? & when will it finally go away! it s been 9 days already like this . I ve take my pills haven t missed a day and I m not pregnant .
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. In my opinion, your symptoms are mostly due to hormonal imbalance. Contraceptive pills can cause hormonal imbalance and this causes menstrual abnormality. So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination and hormone levels. You may need hormone pills according to the report to regulate your hormones. Once your hormones are normal, you will get regular menses. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
