What Causes Light Vaginal Spotting During Periods?
I have been a bit stressed and anxious do to waiting for a vacation that I planned 6 months ago. I am usually normal on my period but this time I started spotting a week early,, and then kind of normal a few days later yet still light,, I am now on day 8 still light but still spotting. I am 49 years old,, not all that active but quite a bit of walking at work 4 days a week
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Vaginal bleeding between periods is not usually a cause for concern. Bleeding between periods refers to any bleeding that occurs after the period ends, or before the period is due to begin. At your age it can also be related to perimenopause. If the bleeding is repeated, I suggest to see a gynecologist for further evaluation.
Hope my answer was helpful.
