What Causes Light Yellow Mucus Secretion In Urine?

Hello Doctor, My 6+ year old son was suffering from fever since last 3-4 days. I have given him 7.5 ml Crocin syrup BD and Amoxyclav DS 7.5 ml BD. His fever has been subsidized now, but we have observed a light yellow mucus in his urine in last 2 days. Attached is his urine routine test report. Can you please check and advise? Hi,

Passage of light yellow mucus in urine could be due to urinary tract infection. It is difficult for me to advise particularly as urine report is not displayed over here. In any case, a course of antibiotics has been given. If urine culture and sensitivity test has been done, and the organisms are sensitive to Amoxacillin and clavulenic acid antibiotics what has been given, such symptoms should subside after completing the course what has been prescribed. However, if the organisms are resistant to these antibiotics, an alternate antibiotic needs to be administered. You need to consult pediatrician in this regard. Give him to drink good quantity of water and citrus fruit juices.
