What Causes Lightheadedness After Retina Detachment Eye Surgery?
This question is for eye doctor. Ive recently had retina detachment eye surgery that required scheral buckle and gas bubble to be placed in my eye. The surgery took place about five weeks ago. Over the past couple of weeks Ive had complications. My blood pressure was extremely elevated that my general practitioner changed my blood pressure meds. I have been experiencing lightheadness, unbalancedness when i do too much walking, and extreme sensitivity to light. I think the gas bubble the bouncing in mye eye and causing the dizziness and the unbalanceness. My eye is still healing and i don't know if the vision has stabilized. The eye doctor does not think these symptoms are related to the surgery and recovery. I need some answers behind this, because i have missed alot of days of work. The surgery has made me more nearsighted in the eye. Do you think going to get a new eyeglass script would help? Im trying to be patient but this has been an hinderness on my quality of life. Please give me some advice.
