What Causes Lightheadedness, Dizziness And Low BP?
I have been prescribed Olmsted plus. 40/25 MG. And have been feeling light headiness and little dizzy with home BP reading of. 95 /60. Where in the morning before I take medication home BP reading is around 120/85....have had a long history of hypertension now aged 53 yes. .......have been on this medication for about 2 yes. With dose of 20/25 MG with good effect. Until I visited a different GP about 2 months ago he increased dosage on one high reading in his surgery.....what time of day should I be taking this tablet.....morning. or. Evening
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic Community . I think , 120/85 is good reading of BP and its normal . Probably you are using Olmetec Plus 40/25 mg , and before your BP was fine with half of its dose when you underwent some procedure . better take medication in the morning after your breakfast and do discuss with your GP if the side could be reduced to half as before . Orhetwise this dose is fine , if your BP remains 120/ 80-85 . most probably you are dizzy because of less BP . Hope I have answered your question . please feel free to ask any follow up questions .
