What Causes Lightheadedness, Vertigo, Excessive Thirst And Blurred Vision?

I have been having the following symptoms: lightheadedness, vertigo, thirst, blurred vision and feeling overheated. I recently had lab tests and everything is in the normal range except mean cell hemoglobin conc. slightly low and mean platelet volume and lymph-auto % slightly high. My PCP doesn t seem to have a clue, any ideas?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of light headedness, vertigo, excessive thirst and blurred vision, blood reports as you have mentioned are not the cause of your symptoms for sure.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Ask your PCP to refer you to a Specialist for proper clinical examination and get further investigated by CT scan of brain and mastoids,
Also needed is to rule out any thyroid related issues.
Also take an opinion of an Ophthalmologist for blurred vision as this is a super specialist field.
Second opinion of an ENT Surgeon for Vertigo may be needed to rule out any ENT related cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
