Hello, My 3 year old grandson has had a limp for about 3 months now. seems there is no pain with this but he won t straighten his righr leg. It s almost like his leg is longer than the other one. He has had blood work done 3 times in this past month with the end result normal. I can t pay for your advice, thank you anyway, just was hoping to help my baby. the doctors here are cluless
dear i understand and appreciate your concern for the little one. Since the limping is about three months now ,we need to be more concerned on a orthopaedic review now.As blood investigations are ok, we need to have a xay done to rule out any other abnormality.However let me add that little kids in these cases some times out of fear of pain or tenderness continue to limp even if the ailment subsides.We need to console, do a straightening exercise or physio at home to make him comfortable at first.More over do let him play a lot run with other kids and do take care of diet and rest. hope this helps most welcome for further queries.
