What Causes Lipoma In The Clavicle Of Neck Along With Nausea?
I have a lipoma in the clavical area of my neck. I have recently been sick with sinus drainage. this lipoma has become larger since I have been sick. I have also been nausiated for months. Could my sickness cause drainage into the lipoma and be making me nausiated?
Hello and welcome to HCM, It is not possible for sinus to drain into a lipoma. Sinuses drain into nasal cavity and nasopharaynx. The swelling in the clavicular region needs to be investigated whether it is actually a lipoma or some other lesion. I suggest you to consult a surgeon and get an ultrasound of the neck to determine the location and relations of the swelling in clavicular swelling. An aspiration cytology of the swelling may be required to determine the nature and character of lesion. On the basis of diagnosis, further management can be planned.
