What Causes Little Bumps Like Blisters On Ridge Of Lips?
Hello, I woke up last week with tiny little bumps on the ridge of my lips. They soon spread out across my whole lips. I started putting medicated blister on it and they got better 3 days later. However, a day later, I noticed that my lips were starting to get dry to I put some more blister on it. But it was different this time. When I rubbed my lips together, they started peeling. And then hours later, they started burning and looked swollen and a bit burn. I put more blistex on it and it got worse. Now, there's yellow liquid on my upper lips and they hurt.
I have gone through your query and it seems that either you have an allergic reaction to any lip product or anything else that caused blisters and chapped lips..
Other reason can be Viral Infection known as HERPES..
In case of allergic reaction taking Allegra or levocetrizine will help.. Apply a thick coat of Petroleum jelly over the lips as it locks moisture and lubricate the lips.. Apply ice packs over lips as it promote blood flow towards the lips..
In case of Herpes Oral and topical antiviral medication like Acyclovir will help in prevention of outbreaks in future as well as reduce the duration of persisting infection..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
