Hi Dear,
Welcome to HCM team.
Understanding your concern.
Thanks for your query .Jaw lock is common problem after extraction .It happens due to inflammation of
facial muscles or muscles of mastication which is caused by
injury to the muscles with injection needle while giving
anesthesia or other traumatic injury to muscles.
As far as
chest pain is concerned after extraction ,there are two probable reasons first i could be due to
anxiety and apprehension during extraction, second it could be because of side effect of
adrenaline which is one of the ingredient of local
anesthetic solution.Usually it goes away as patient relaxes or adrenaline clear of from blood.
If it persists or get worse then it will become a medical emergency then your should immediately
consult doctor.
In the same way jaw lock also go away within 10-12 days with the help of some hole remedies like give hot compresses 2-3 times daily ,eat
soft diet and do exercises for opening mouth with or without mouth gag .
You can also take
muscle relaxant to relax you jaw muscles and pain killer as prescribe by
dentist.
If jaw lock condition persist you should consult dentistor oral surgeon.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
