The reasons for hanging testicles can be: Development of the varicose veins in the scrotum. This is called varicocele. Due to stagnated blood in the dilated veins surrounding the testes, the local inside temperature rises. The scrotal skin is very sensitive to the slightest rise in temperature and responds by automatically getting loosened and spread. The testes will also follow so they appear to be lower than normal. The best way to confirm this diagnosis is by physical examination by an Urologist and ultrasonography with color doppler examination. Also go for semen analysis to see if the sperm count is normal or not. If indicated you have to undergo surgery for correction of this. In the meantime elevate and give support to the scrotum.
