What Causes Loose Hanging Testicles?

Hi, I am 21 years old and noticed that my testicles have been hanging abnormally low ever since I got a couple little pimple things removed from my scrotum about 8 months ago. The doctor told me these pimple things were called calcium deposits and were harmless but they made me self-conscious so I got them removed. Anyways, ever since then my testicles have been hanging a lot lower than usual and at times one of my testicles hangs below where the other one ends, so it s almost like they are on top of each other. Sometimes I think since they hang lower now my testicles feel a little bit sore at times. I was wondering if the reason for them hanging lower now is from a little extra skin from after getting the calcium deposits removed, and is there is anything I could do to treat my testicles hanging this low?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
The surgery for removal of the so-called calcium deposits will not cause this problem. The pimples which were removed would have been sebaceous cysts.

The reasons for hanging testicles can be:
Development of the varicose veins in the scrotum. This is called varicocele. Due to stagnated blood in the dilated veins surrounding the testes, the local inside temperature rises. The scrotal skin is very sensitive to the slightest rise in temperature and responds by automatically getting loosened and spread. The testes will also follow so they appear to be lower than normal.

The best way to confirm this diagnosis is by physical examination by an Urologist and ultrasonography with color doppler examination. Also go for semen analysis to see if the sperm count is normal or not.
If indicated you have to undergo surgery for correction of this.
In the meantime elevate and give support to the scrotum.
