What Causes Loose Motion In A Child After Taking Corex And Mega Cv Syrup?
hi,my son just 2mnths old.he was suffering from cold nd ear infection,when we consult to doctor he prescribed corex for 5days and mega cv syrup for 7 days.1 day we used that medicine.now baby have sever loose motion does it cause any problem please reply.

As per your query your son have symptoms of loose motion after taking Corex and Mega cv syrup which seems to be due side effect of medication. Need not to worry.
You should take Probiotics such as lactobacillus. I would suggest you to start giving oral rehydration fluids sip by sip to maintain the hydration,, which is very important as this is the worse complication of loose motions.
Visit paediatrician once and get it examined. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination.
You should give Ibuprofen to child along with proton pump inhibitors as well. I would suggest you to take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis.
Avoid giving child excess of fruit juices as it will exaggerate your condition. Avoid intake of sharp and spicy food substances.
