What Causes Loose Motions Whole Suffering From Collagenous Colitis?
I was diagnosed with collagenous colitis about 5 years ago. Instantly stopped taking anti inflamitory tablets and it settled down. The consultant said I may get a flare up. For the past week or so I have had urgency opening my bowels two or three times a day, and in the past week it has been very loose. Not sure if I should contact the consultant again. Regards Jeanie

Collagenous colitis is an inflammatory bowel disease.
I suggest using an over the counter option such as Imodium to treat diarrhea.
I also recommend using daily probiotics.
