What Causes Loose Stools Despite Having Ulcerative Colitis?
Hii this is pinkesh.i am an ulcerative colitis patient since 10 years.my regular medicines are mesacol, azoran, orofor XT, shelcal. From last 10 days I am suffering from severe loose motions for this I am taking NORMAXIN but it is not working so plz suggest me what medicine should I have to take.
It is possible that there may be an infectious cause for your diarrhea. This would cause persistent diarrhea that you are experiencing.
Many cases of infectious diarrhea resolve with symptomatic treatment such as holding off solid food, probiotics and using fluids/electrolytes to replace what is being loss.
In some cases, antibiotics are needed. It is possible that this may be the case for you. You may need to consult your doctor to determine if this is the case.
