What Causes Loose Stools Post Intake Of Curcumin And BioPerine?
I JUST STARTED TAKING TURMERIC CURCUMIN 1000 MG, BIO PERINE 5 MG. THIS WOULD BE 2 CAPSULES IN ORDER TO BE 1000 MG. I HAVE ONLY DONE 2 DAYS. I HAVE VERY LOOSE STOOLS. IN THE PAST I HAVE HAD A SENSITIVE SYSTEM WHERE SPICES ARE CONCERNED. COULD THIS HAVE TRIGGERED THIS? SHOULD I STOP TOTALLY OR CUT DOWN?
HelIo, Thanks for the query. Turmeric when taken in moderate doses rarely causes any side effects. But when taken in high doses can cause In addition, high doses of turmeric have been observed to cause: Nausea. Diarrhea. Increased risk of bleeding. Increased liver function tests. Hyperactive gallbladder contractions. Hypotension (lowered blood pressure). Bio Perine also can cause gastrointestinal upsets like nausea and diarrhea. So you may need to either reduce the dose of both preparations or stop using them. Thanks,
