Hi Abdominal tuberculosis may be of two types - one hyperplastic in which wall of intestines become hard and second one is ulcerative. Alternate diarrhoea and constipation is common in tuberculosis of intestines. However, on antitubercular treatment the bacterial flora of the intestines get disturbed and there is loose stools. It is advisable to have probiotics along with the treatment.
