What Causes Loss In The Sense Of Taste?

i have lost the ability to taste, except salty, or sweet is slimy, any type of food containing a fat feels greasy. M tongue and throat feel like they have been burned, but no trauma has happened. this is ongoing for months. i dont drink noe smoke and have avoided spicy anything for years.

After reading your post, I would suggest that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated by an oral hygienist. You might be having infection of the tongue. A clinical evaluation by your doctor will help in planning your medical management.
