Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I believe my Ph balance is off. I want to see if I can test it with the same strips I use for my hot tub?I have been having lung problems for the last several years, asthma that flairs up so I have had to take steroids each winter. Also, I am very frustrated with my weight because I work out differently 3-4 times a week and watch my diet. I have gained over 25 pounds in the last 2-3 years. My joints, muscles and jaw is tense though I think that is just anxiety I am working on wellness and meditation.
I understand your concern. When you take steriods, weigh gain is a common side effect. You should continue with daily exercise and other relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation to be fit.
You can check your body PH by doing simple tests, Go to the hospital and ask for Saliva PH test and Urine PH test.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards Dr Chaithanya
