What Causes Loss Of Balance Post Intake Of Citalopram Tablet?
My husband is 82 & has had so anxiety this past year and the citalopram has helped so much, however he has trouble now bending over falling & balance problems. He has always has had really excellent balance. walking around a roof at 68 like he was on the ground. This has just started these past few months and I wonder if it is related to the citalopram he started last fall or just his age???
Hello dear user of HCM! Thank you for your question!
I really understand your concerns you are sharing with us! Between side effects of citalopram may be found dizziness, fainting, or the feeling like you are drunk.
These are rare side effects but may happen. If these symptoms continue to persist for a long time please consult your doctor who has prescribed it since a change of titration or medication may be needed.
I hope your husband will be fine soon! I wish you a good health! DR ERIOL.
