Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of loss of hearing in a diabetic patient post removal of wax which could be due to autoimmune inner ear disease , very loud noise , acoustic neuroma , physical head injury. In diabetic patient healing processes sometimes get delayed .
So if there is some injury in wax removal processes it will heal slowly or may become susceptible to infection . This may the reason for hearing loss in your case. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Keep your ear dry and cover it during bathing .
You should get it examined immediately to prevent further exaggeration of symptoms. Doctor may order CT scan , blood test , examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin, anti inflammatory medications. Doctor can recommend you surgery.
You should use hearing aid as that is the best treatment possible.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
