Noted the history about a 34 year old male having told in a hospital bout nerve conduction problem causing hearing loss 15 years ago. This means you were already evaluated long ago. The report must be sensori-neural hearing loss. I would advise you the following in such a case: Consult an ENT Surgeon again for clinical examination, Audiometry and MRI study of the ear structures, the nerves and brain to see for a possible cause. Also discuss abotu a possible surgery to correct or at least improve the hearing. Hearing aid can be tried and be successful in some cases. Also take nerve tonics. Avoid any hearing injury.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT & General Surgeon
