What Causes Loss Of Sense Of Smell And Taste And Tingling In Face?

Hello. I had a mild case of shingles about 3 years ago. I knew what it was straight away and I was treated. However shortly there after I lost my sense of smell and taste. I have experienced stabbing in hands. tingling in face. Random itching at bottom of feet. I have numbness of lips. I exercise and I do not smoke ( never have) I am about 120lbs at 5 3. I went to the ENT no polyps and he wanted me to get an MRI.. not happening as I pay out of pocket for healthcare costs to meet deductible. I eat to sustain life. I am never hungry. I had a hysterectomy about 5 years ago. Laparoscopic. Not enjoying life. Thank you, Emily Buffalo, NY
