What Causes Loss Of Vision When Diagnosed With MS?

I have been diagnosed with MS and both the doctor and I are certain that it is probably Primary Progressive. I am 52 and was diagnosed a year and a half ago. have been having the strangest symptoms for approx. 8 years before but noone ever listened til then. My vision has extremely gone downhill for about 6 years now. My doctor says there is no sign of Optic Neuritis. Everything I read never says anything about the hearing problems associated with MS. Why is that? Is there really no connection between the two? My hearing has also gone to the point of really needing a hearing aid, but I have yet to go there. What do you think?
