What Causes Loss Of Voice After Taking Cefdinir For Cough?

I just started on cefdinir for a bad cough and sinusitis...now I totally lost my voice as I did when I was given levaquin a number of years ago...are these drugs including cipro related? I feel I should avoid them altogether...I have no trouble w az pack...thank you

Hello! I have been through your question.
Related your concern I think that you should know that Cefdinir has hoarseness (loss of your voice) as a side effect.
Cefdinir belongs class of cephalosporins and has not relation with cipro and levaquin that belong fluoroquinolone class.
You should speak with your doctor to decide to stop or not Cefdinir.
