What Causes Loss Of Volume In The Right Suprahilar Region?

I had a CT scan last week and one of the things it showed was loss of volume seen in the right suprahiliar region. Could you tell me what this means. (I was diagnosed with stage 3 small cell lung cancer two years ago). I had chemo and radiation and seem to be cancer free.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello thank you for writing us here.
It suggests that the abnormal tissue (carcinoma tissue) is scooped out with some normal tissue which caused loss of some tissue. The space would be left like this or would be filled depending on the conditions of the area. There's nothing to worry about.
God bless you.

Best regards,
Dr Gunjan
