Hi i have survier stress incontinence,have to wear napoy oads for it and i believed it gave me cyctitus. But ive been drinking loads of fluids with no effect. Im now passing small pink mucus like clots wen urinating,notice them wen i wipe. Small amounts of urine come out then i feel lots of pressure there, i can only describe it like the involuntary pussing feeling when in labour.constantly feel like my bladder is irritated and there is pressure. Any advice please wud be fab
Pink color mucus specs in urine with urgency and discomfort in bladder area are most likely to be due to UTI.
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics like Cefotaxime along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkalizer thrice daily .Later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
