Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am looking at the list of over the counter drugs, available I my Walgreens Pharmacy. My CBC numbers counts are very low. Thank you so the list and your willingness to help me. I ve been diagnosed with CLL and I just completed 2- days of chem. I can ask my Team at the Oncology Staff to have the Doctor to prescribe something for me. I made an appointment to see a Dietitian next week on eating better. Have a good night....signing off
You say that your CBC levels were found low after the 2 days of chem. There are 2 main reasons for that: - your principal CLL diagnosis - chemotherapy you went through.
I need to have a look at your CBC report so I can analyze myself. Depending on the results, what's lacking, we can decide if you need other supplementation.
You can ask your Oncology team to see your CBC reports and decide if you need extra supplementation at this point.
All the best.
