Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
If I have been diagnosed with hemochromotosis, but also have had cervical cancer resulting in a full hysterectomy at 23 (I m 38 now) & colon cancer removed 13 months ago, is it normal for my WBC & RBC to be out of range on the low end? I just returned from the hospital due to a seizure episode and lab numbers which my internal doctor usually runs every 3 months are much lower than usual. He also ordered a chest x-ray at the last visit because I ve lost a significant amount of weight & he s concerned with that too. I don t see him for another 3 weeks but I am wondering if I should call and make an appointment since I saw the hospital lab work or this is something to be expected with cancer in my history. Thank you very much for any help.
When the side or corner of a toenail grows into the flesh of the toe, it's called an ingrown toenail. Ingrown toenails cause swelling, pain, and redness. Ingrown toenails can also become infected. Treatment: If your toe is infected — or at risk of infection — your doctor might prescribe an antibiotic.
