I was dx. with 4th stage lung ca in 2008. some cells are poorly diff. neuroendocrine cells. I had sx. of episodes low blood sugar, sweats. also sx of increase of thyroxine. altho I don t have prob. with thyroid or am not diabetic. I have undergone chemo and have been ca. free for 3 yrs. I am followed every yr. by CT. a nodual which has been stable for yrs has now gotten bigger but not big enough to bx. I will have another Ct in Sept. and if it is 1 cm. they will bx. here is my current prob. I have had 2 episodes of what I believe to be low blood sugas-breaking out in sweats, dizzy, pale and shakey. I drink orange juice and have cheese and I recover fast. Do these episodes have to do with neuroendocrine cells??
