What Causes Low Blood Pressure Levels And Vertigo?

Hi. I am visiting US from Slovakia, I am 72 years old. I have a hypertension and I am on 4 medicines: Lokren (dosage 1/2 tablet), Gopten (trandolaprilum 2mg), Rawel (indepamidum 1.5 mg), Agen 5 (amlodipin) which I ve been successfully taking for over 20 years. But my pressure has drastically dropped last couple of days while here visiting. I used have 130/75 and pulse 65 on the medicine and now it went down to 106/58 and pulse 56. I also experienced vertigo. Please advise which of medicine(s) I can safely temporarily stop taking while here visiting, to get it back to my old normal without endangering myself. Thank you

Hi,

Yes, your dizziness can well be explained by your low BP. 4 drugs are too much for you now. You can stop any of them like you can stop Indapamide or Amlodipine. But keep an eye on your BP and see your Doctor as soon as possible for future planning.

Hope I have answered your query.
