What Causes Low Blood Sugar Level After Taking Amox Tr K Clv For Sinus?

My Dr prescribed Amox TR-K CLV 875-125 mg Tabs for a severe sinus & bronchitis infection. I have been expirencing low to very low blood sugar levels. Is this to be expected? He also started me on Hydrocondone Chlorphen cough elixir. What is going on with my Blood sugar levels?

Amox TR-K CLV 875-125 mg is the combination of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium is used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria, like pneumonia, sinus infections, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, infections of skin as well as soft tissue and many more. Amoxicillin/ clavulanate belongs to the group of medications known as Penicillin. They are together also known as Augmentin. They work by stopping the growth of bacteria. Hypoglycemia is found among people who take Augmentin, especially for people who are usually female, 60+ old.
