What Causes Low Body Temperature While Suffering With Influenza A?

I tested positive for influenza A , I ve had all symptoms including high fever. Today is day 3 and I went to work (bad idea). By the end of the day I was so hot I had sweat through my clothes. When I got home, I took my temp exile ting a fever and it was 95.5. Is this typical? I had tamiflu 8 hours ago.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Infection ,including the flu, most commonly causes an increase in temperature though a decrease can also occur.

A decrease in temperature would not be typically or specifically treated.

Treatment of the flu symptoms themselves would be relevant. If the temperature increases beyond normal then the use of medication such a paracetamol or ibuprofen would be helpful.

I hope this helps
