What Causes Low Fever Along With Joint Pain?

Hi, a few days ago my husband got a low fever, joint pain, and rash. His eye also appeared red, but not itchy. We went to an urgi-care, and they prescribed him an anti-bactrial ant-biotic. I mentioned to them that he used to suffer from Gout. I feel uneasy about his care, what do you think?
