What Causes Low Grade Fever Along With UTI?
I had kidney surgery 4 wks ago they went up the ureters into the kidney broke up stones and removed them bilateral. Stents were placed. Since I pull the stents I ran low grade fever, had UTI treated with Bactrim. Finished antibiotic over a wk ago. Had another culture (neg) still running low grade fever and feel achy. The fever isn t constant comes and goes. What are your thought

Hi,
Must be UTI as a foreign body was present in your ureters in the form of stents. Take antibiotic course according to urine culture, drink plenty of water and fluids, have urinary alkalizers (alkacitra). You will be fine very soon.
