What Causes Low Grade Fever Along With Headache And Muscle Ache?

My symptoms started with a low grade fever and headaches. This lasted for 4 or 5 days. Now I m experiencing bone and muscle aches. I m extremely lethargic and have slept the better part of the last 48 hours. I have no appetite. I ve limited my intact to water.

I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
All the symptoms you have mentioned suggestive of some kind of viral fever.
You don't need to worry as most viral fevers are self limiting and complications are very less. However we have to rule out conditions like dengue and chickun guniya before commencing the treatment.
I suggest you to consult a general practitioner and get the following things done :-
1.You can take simple analgesics like acetaminophen(paracetamol) for fever and pain.
2. Do basic blood investigations like CBC (complete blood count). Have a check on your platelet count.
3. Drink plenty of water to keep yourself rehydrated.
4.If your physician suspect dengue, you might require a dengue NS1 test for confirmation.
5.Watch for bleeding manifestations like gum bleeds which are the rare complications of viral fever.
6.Adequate bed rest is essential.
