What Causes Low Grade Fever Along With Headaches And Nose Congestion?
6 year old, on day 4 of mid grade fever. Tested negative for the flu 2 days ago. Fever is still persisting. Goes down to mid 99° with medicine, but this afternoon went back up to 101.9°. No vomiting or diarrhea, but has a stuffy nose, and complains of occasional headache.

Hello,
It seems to be viral upper respiratory tract infection. Adenovirus like infection can be there.
Symptomatic management can be done for that. For fever, antipyretic drug can be given. Auscultation should also be done.
If doubtful then further work up done. Consult a pediatrician for examination.
