What Causes Low Grade Fever And Lower Back Pain During Pregnancy?

27 year old female 8 months pregnant, immediate onset of low grade fever, chills, horrible low back pain yesterday. Hospital gave Rocephen antib. slight elevated white cells, Demerol for pain shot. Today still complains of same symptoms, still has fever and chills.

Hi welcome to health care magic....

You are having high leukocyte count, so chance of infection can be present. ..
For that ceftriaxone shot given to you....
Your CRP and Differential blood count also important to know as if high neutrophils present than full course antibiotic needed....

For backache you are given opioid drug for pain relief....

Your auscultation, general examination done to look for source of infection...
If needed USG can be done. ...

Take care.....

Advise : gynecologist consultation for examination..
