What Causes Low Grade Fever And Nausea While Recovering From Stomach Virus?

I am getting over a stomach bug I had on Wednesday that had me in the bathroom for 6 hours top and bottom. Now everything I eat or drink causes me to have big burps. I am running a low-grade fever and still have some nausea. Is this just part of getting over the bug?
