What Causes Low Grade Fever And Swollen Lymph Nodes?

Had follow-up chest with contrast this morning, approximately four weeks after initial scan. About five hours later, I developed a lowish fever of 101-102 degrees with chills and a strong sensation that I needed to vomit. I took proto bishop and fell asleep. Still have the fever, now eight hours post procedure. Have been drinking lots of water, approximately 100 ounces. Do I need to be concerned? If it matters, the initial scan reported lymph node blockage and swelling on the right side of my neck and the right middle lobe of my lung.

Hi,

Swollen lymph nodes are one sign that your lymphatic system is working to rid your body of the responsible agents.
Swollen lymph glands in the head and neck are normally caused by illnesses such as: ear infection. the cold or flu or TB. Get tested for TB and any malignancy.
