What Causes Low Grade Fever That Comes And Goes In Adults?

What could cause a low grade fever that comes and go? Some upper chest and lower next pain and fatigue; the pain comes and goes also. Tylenol some times helps. He as given Tylenol COC #3 and cyclobenzaprine 5mg. He has not taken the cyclobenzaprine yet. Two ER visits showed arthrits of the neck. EKG was normal. My husband did have a heart attach 5 years ago. All blood work was normal also. We had to find a new dr which we will see in10 days and the cardo, in 1 month for his normal 6 month check up. He also takes lipator. Thanks

Recurrent low grade fever associated with fatigue and chest pain could be due to tuberculosis. See a physician for general examination and relevant investigations for diagnosis and thus management.
