General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Chronic kidney disease and diabetes, both can lead to high blood pressure and long standing uncontrolled blood pressure can affect heart. Before jumping to major treatments, it's necessary to get him fully investigated. After knowing his present kidney, diabetes and heart status, experts (cardiologist, kidney specialist, diabetologist) would decide line of treatment for him.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
