What Causes Low Heart Rate While Treating Atrial Fibrillation?

just trying to get some info i have afib and take flecainide Acetate Tablets 50mg twice aday for the past 18 months i walk daily 5 to 10 miles and also bike ride 4 days a week 8 to 10 miles i have noticed my heart rate getting slower my resting heart rate when i wake in the mornings is between 40 45 i feel fine i have talked to my cardiologist about this but he doesnt seem to be concerned .......is this something to be concerned about

Since you are an active person, your heart rate would decrease. This means that the heart is working more efficiently.

If you were having symptoms related to the low heart rate, then it would be concerning and you may need to be treated.
Since no symptoms are present, then you can monitor.
