My husband has just been put in the hospital for very low hemoglobin like 7.9. Very weak and dizzy and tired. He was diagnosed a couple monthe ago with diverticulitis. Hasn t been able to get rid of pains in stomach. Just got done with another dose of cipro and flagyl. Put on liquid diet for few days and said pains were not too bad. His hemoglobin was low before and put him on iron to take 3 times daily. Now again, and it s lower even more now.
