What Causes Low Lymphocyte Count?

Good Morning, My wife was feeling ill and she went to see a doctor. A CBC and differential were done for her and the result is attached for reference. The thing is the doctor gave her antibiotics and panadol as prescription but i am worried because her lymphocytes are down whereas she is only being treated for bacterial infection, hence the antibiotics. Please can you help me explain her report better because i am worried her lymphocytes are too low even though are WBC is normal

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You have mentioned low lymphocytes count but here full report is not present and you have not mentioned your complaint for which you have done CBC

It depending upon degree of low lymphocytes that further work up needed or not

If bone marrow involve secondary to infection than sometime lymphocytes might low along with low total count

Hence kindly mentioned your specific complaints if present and full CBC report with value, than further comment can be given

Consult physician for examination
